PABX access code
If you are connecting your BT Zenith Flip to a switchboard/PBX you may need to enter an
access code (e.g. 9) in order to get an outside line. So that the switchboard has time to
pick up an outside line, you may also need to add a Pause after the access code in
numbers stored in the phonebook, see
page 82.
Set PABX access code
1. Select
Menu
and scroll UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT to
Handset
. Select
OK
.
2. Scroll
UP or DOWN to
PABX Access Code
and select
OK
.
Set Code
is highlighted.
3. Select
OK
and enter the access code you want. Select
Clear
to delete any incorrect digits.
4. Select
OK
to confirm or
Back
to return to the previous screen without saving the code.
Switch PABX access code on or off
You may want to do this if using a handset with different bases, one of which is
connected to a switchboard.
When the code is switched off your handset will not dial the code automatically before
each telephone number.
