4. If battery becomes low while you are on a call, you will
be disconnected after about 2 minutes. Terminate the call
quickly and recharge battery.
To recharge battery pack, place handset in base and:
1. Make sure contact points are touching and CHARGE
LED is lit.
2. Be careful not to short battery with conducting materi-
als such as rings, bracelets and keys.
Extended Battery Life
5 hours Talk time and 8 days in Standby
Replace battery every 2 years. Use only WALKER
EQUIPMENT approved NiCad batteries in your
cordless phone.

prevent the caller from
hearing outside

to indicate line is in use.
Lights orange when boost
is activated.
Charge Contacts:
For charging the
battery in the
HANDSET.
Channel Button:
Press to change the
operating channel when
you hear interference.
Redial/Pause Button:
Press to redial the last
number you called. (2)
Press to insert a 4-second
pause into the speed
dialing of telephone
numbers.
Flash Button: Lights when
activated.Press to answer
an incoming call if you have
Call Waiting.
Boost Button: Press
to toggle on/off the receiver
volume control feature.
Handset Visual
Ringer: allows you to
see phone ringer when
phone is away from
base unit.
Backlite Keypad: Makes
dialing easier at night
Headset Jack:
Connect to a headset
for hands-free
conversation.
