Deleting information from the Caller ID list
The EXI 8965 stores up to 50 messages. If more new calls are received, messages
stored in the list are deleted beginning with the oldest message in the list.
Caller ID data can also be deleted manually.
Deleting a Caller ID message
1 Press .
Display the message to be deleted
from the Caller ID list by pressing
or .
2 Press .
3 Press or to select “Yes” or
"
No".
4 Press or .
When the pointer is at “Yes”:
A beep tone sounds and the next
Caller ID message displayed.
When the pointer is at “No”:
The display returns to the Caller ID
display.

• While using the

screen, if no key is pressed for more
than 20 seconds, an error tone sounds and the telephone returns to standby.
• If you get an incoming call, the deleting operation is cancelled and the telephone
returns to standby so you can answer the call.
