Exchanging Date Book and Address data
between your CLIÉ handheld and computer
HotSync

operation (page 71) enables you to exchange Date Book data and the
Address data between your CLIÉ handheld and computer.
Depending on the applications that you use on your computer, there are two
ways to exchange data.
Exchanging data between your CLIÉ handheld and
Palm™ Desktop for CLIÉ software on your computer
You can synchronize data between “Date Book” or “Address” managed by the
Palm™ Desktop for CLIÉ software on your computer and your CLIÉ
handheld.

Exchanging data between your CLIÉ handheld and
Microsoft
®
Outlook (Intellisync
®
Lite) in your
computer
“Intellisync Lite” must be installed on your computer to connect with
“Microsoft
®
Outlook” and “Lotus Organizer.”

The Intellisync Lite software can be installed with the option “Using your CLIÉ
handheld” of the installer menu screen.
