USING A HEADSET
You can talk on the phone with hands-
free convenience usin

To connect the headset, pull open the
rubber cover marked on the side of
the handset, then insert the headset’s
plu

into the jack.
With a headset connected,

ou can
make or answer calls as usual usin

s on the handset.
Notes
:
Connectin

a headset disconnects
the handset’s earpiece and micro-
phone.
VOLUME
on the handset also con-
trols the connected headset’s vol-
ume.

connected, be sure the handset

You can use a handset holder (available
from

our local RadioShack store) to

the handset on

convenience.

connect it from the handset and close
the rubber cover to protect the jack.

CALLER ID OPERATION
If

ou subscribe to Caller ID service from

our phone compan

, the phone compa-

sends information about the caller, as
well as the time and date, between the
first and second rin

receive.
The TAD-794 displa

when a call is received, and it stores up
to 30 Caller ID records for later review.

also shows if caller informa-
tion is unavailable or if the name or num-
ber is blocked b

If the TAD’s Caller ID memor

full, it replaces the oldest Caller ID
record with each new call.

RECORDS

shows the caller’s phone number. If the

rest of the name or number scrolls onto
