Preparation
With the base unit
You can set the base unit ringer volume to HIGH, LOW or OFF. If set to
OFF, the base unit will not ring, and a caller’s name will not be
announced with the base unit even if the Talking Caller ID feature is ON
(p. 17).
Your phone comes from the factory set to HIGH.
Make sure the unit is in the standby mode initially. (You can also select
the ringer volume while a call is being received.)
To select HIGH or LOW, press (RINGER).
•Each time you press the button, the selected
ringer volume will be displayed and ring.
To turn the ringer OFF, press and hold
(RINGER) until 2 beeps sound.
•“Ringer off” will be displayed.
To turn the ringer ON, press (RINGER).
•The ringer will sound at the HIGH level.
