Listening to Voice Mail Messages
After receiving a voice mail message, “Voicemail” and “”will be
displayed and the VOICE MAIL button on the base unit will flash. You can
listen to your voice mail message(s) using the handset or the base unit.
With the handset With the base unit
•If “Voicemail” and “” still remain on the display and the VOICE MAIL button
on the base unit still flashes even if you have listened to your voice mail
message(s), press (FUNCTION/CH), and press and hold (CLEAR/INTERCOM)
on the handset until the unit beeps. “Voicemail” and “” will disappear and
the button will turn out.
•If your voice mail service uses a voice mail tone and the recorded message is
over 3 minutes long, “Voicemail” and “” may not be displayed and the
VOICE MAIL button may not flash.
•If your voice mail service uses a voice mail tone, the tone will be heard from any
parallel connected phone. If you use another phone to retrieve messages, you
have to dial your access number manually.
