3 seconds.

≥If you enter a blank, press [1].
≥To show the cursor, press after entering a character. While entering names,
the cursor will flash on the display.
If you make a mistake while entering a name
Use or to move the cursor to the incorrect character, press
[MUTE/CLEAR] to delete and enter the correct character. Each time you
press
[MUTE/CLEAR], a character under the cursor is erased.
To erase all characters, press and hold [MUTE/CLEAR].

Selecting characters to enter names
The handset dialing buttons ([1) to [9]), and can be used to enter
letters and symbols. The letters are printed on the dialing buttons.
Pressing each button selects a character as shown below.
