Phone Book

You can store up to 10 names and phone numbers in the phone book.
Using the phone book, you can make a call by selecting a name on the
handset display.
Storing Names and Numbers
Make sure the unit is in the standby mode.

Press [AUTO/PROGRAM].

Press a memory station number ([0] to [9]).
If an item is already stored, that information is
displayed.

Press [EDIT].

Enter a name, up to 15 characters, using
the dialing buttons ([1] to [9]), or .
See the steps for entering names and symbols
(p. 21).
If a name is not required, press [EDIT] and go
to step 6.

Press [EDIT].

Enter a phone number, up to 24 digits.
Each time you press [MUTE/CLEAR], the digit
is erased from the right. To erase all of the
digits, press and hold [MUTE/CLEAR].
To show the cursor, press after entering a
digit. Each time you press [MUTE/CLEAR],
the digit under the cursor is erased.
When you store the last number dialed, press
[PAUSE/REDIAL] instead of entering a phone
number.

Press [EDIT] to save.
A beep sounds.
The handset will return to the standby mode.
If a pause is required for dialing, [PAUSE/REDIAL] can be stored in a phone
number counting as one digit (p. 26) in step 6.
You can exit the programming mode at any time by pressing [OFF].
If you do not press any buttons for 60 seconds, the unit will return to the standby
mode.
