Bluetooth® wireless technology Radio
technology that was developed to connect
devices, such as mobile phones and
headsets, without wires or cords over a
distance of approximately 30 feet (10
meters). More information is available at

Pairing (also known as forming a
partnership) Process that creates a
unique and encrypted communication link
between two Bluetooth devices and
enables them to communicate with each
other.
When you have paired your mobile phone
with your headset, the devices recognize
each other, allowing the phone to bypass
the discovery and authentication process
and automatically accept the transmission.
Passkey Code that you must enter on the
phone in order to pair the mobile phone
with your headset.
