a“VendorClass”.TheDHCPservermust
alsobeabletodefine“OptionCodes”.
ProcessOverview:
1. UsetheAutoConfigurationApplicationtocreateaterminalconfigurationfilewithcorresponding
networkandtelephonydataparametersthatareneededtoconnecttheDT700IPTerminaltothe
TelephonySwitch.ThiscreatedAutoConfiguraiton
fileneedstobeloadedontoanetworkaccessible
PC/ServerwithaFTPserverrunning.
2. PlugtheDT700intothelocalnetwork(FactoryValueSettings).
3. LocalDHCPserverwillprovideVendorSpecificOptionsfortheDT700.
4. TheDT700willuseDHCPVendorSpecificOptionstocommunicate
withlocalFTPServer.
5. TheDT700willdownloadthecreatedAutoConfigfilefromtheFTPServer.
6. TheDT700willinitializewithitsnewdownloadedconfigurationandconnecttotheTelephonySwitch.
