Appendix C: Regulatory Information
• Do not use the Handset in an explosive hazard area, such as gas stations where there is gas leaking.
• Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the Telephony Kit.
Environmental care: Please remember to observe your local regulations regarding the disposal of your packaging materials, exhausted batteries and old
phone and, where possible, always recycle.
Because the phone works by sending radio signals between the Base Station and the Handset, wearers of hearing aids may experience interference in the
form of a humming noise.
The Telephony Kit should not be used near intensive care medical equipment or by persons with pacemakers.
As the Telephony Kit can interfere with nearby electrical equipment, such as answering machines, televisions and radios, you should position the base unit at
least one meter from such appliances.
Privacy of communications may not be ensured when using this telephone.
