LCD Display Description
Standby Display
This LCD display shows the total number of calls and the number of new
calls ready to be reviewed. In this example you have a total of 4 calls
which includes two new calls. The date and time are also displayed.
Caller Display Record *
This LCD display shows the information received and stored when you
receive an incoming call.
Setting Up
Connect the handset. The connector at the end of the curly cord plugs
into the socket on the left hand side of the Dallas 30 unit.
Open the battery compartment. Insert 3 good quality alkaline batteries
(AAA size, 1.5V type, not supplied) into the battery compartment located
on the base of the telephone. Replace the battery cover. If the batteries
are running low, the battery icon will be displayed on the LCD display.
Always ensure that the DALLAS 30 is not connected to the telephone line
and the AC Mains Adaptor (if in use) when installing or changing batteries.
Note : Do not use rechargeable batteries. Do not put batteries into the
household rubbish, pay attention to battery regulations regarding battery
disposal.
Connect the line cord to the socket located at rear of telephone then
connect the plug into the wall socket *.
There is an optionally available Geemarc AC adaptor. This can be used to
prolong the life of the batteries (or replace the need to use any batteries).
This adaptor must have a 9V DC output with a positive polarity centre pin.
Connect the power supply to the socket located at rear of the telephone
then plug into a 13amp wall socket. Please choose a socket near your
telephone socket to enable you to unplug the mains power quickly in case
of a problem.

Note:
Battery or mains power are required to power the Phonebook
and Caller Display functions of the telephone. Without battery or mains
power, the telephone can still be used to answer calls or to manually
dial out calls but all stored numbers will be lost.
