Telephone Operation
Charge Indicator
When the CHARGE/IN USE indicator on the base is lit, the handset is correctly seated
in the cradle and is charging.
Making Calls
1. Pick up the handset, and press the TALK•CALL BACK button. Listen for a dial tone.
2. Dial the number you want to call.
3. When finished, press the TALK•CALL BACK button to hang up.
Answering Calls
1. When the phone rings, pick up the handset, and press the TALK•CALL BACK button.
2. When finished, press TALK•CALL BACK to hang up.
NOTE: Adjust the handset volume by pressing the CALLER ID-VOL ( or )
button during a call.
Speakerphone Operation
Answering a Call with Speakerphone
1. When the phone rings, press the SPEAKER button on the handset.
2. When finished, press the SPEAKER button again to hang up.
Making a Call with Speakerphone
1. Pick up the handset, and press the SPEAKER button. Listen for the dial tone.
2. Dial the number you want to call.
3. When finished, press the SPEAKER button to hang up.
NOTE: If you are using the handset earpiece and want to switch to the
speakerphone, press the SPEAKER button, you can then press SPEAKER again
to end conversation. If you are using the speakerphone and want to switch to
the handset earpiece, press the TALK•CALL BACK button, you can then press
TALK•CALL BACK again to end conversation.
