Deleting Entries from
PhoneBook
To delete an entry from the
PhoneBook:
1. Press the DEL button. DELETE
will flash on the screen.
2. Press DEL to confirm the action.
To delete all entries:
1. Press and hold the DEL button
for four (4) seconds. DELETE ALL
will flash on the screen.
2. Press DEL again to confirm the
action. NO RECORDS will appear on
the display screen.
MAKING AND RECEIVING
CALLS
Placing a Call
1. Lift the handset and dial the number
you wish to call.The handset icon
will appear on the LCD to indicate
phone is off hook.
2. Press the BOOST button and turn
the Clarity Power dial to adjust vol-
ume.The BOOST button will illumi-
nate to indicate amplification is on.
3. The call timer will start when the
handset is lifted and record the
length of your call.When you hang
up, the timer will stop and will reset
after 20 seconds.
Hands Free Dialing
The telephone can be dialed without
lifting the handset or pressing the
HEADSET button (if a headset is
plugged in).This feature allows you to
dial the phone number and correct mis-
takes with the DEL button rather than
hanging up and redialing.
1. Dial the desired number. Lift the
handset or press the headset
button to transmit the call.
2. Before lifting the handset or press-
ing the HEADSET button (if a head-
set is plugged in), press the DEL
button and reenter the correct
number to correct any errors.
Receiving a Call
When a call is received, the audible
ringer will sound and the keypad will
flash to alert you of an incoming call. To
answer the call, lift the handset or press
the HEADSET button (if a headset is
plugged in).
