Delete a Number/Name Stored in the Directory
1 Press > (DIR). The screen displays DIRECTORY.
2 Press < or > to scroll alphabetically through entries
stored in memory
—OR—
Press the dial pad key for the first letter of the entry you
want to delete.
3 When the screen displays the number you want to delete, press
S. Then press < or > until ERASE flashes.
4 Press S. The screen displays ERASE NO YES and the number.
The current choice flashes.
5 Press < or > until YES flashes.
6 Press S. You’ll hear a series of beeps confirming the deletion.
Dial a Number from the Directory
1 Press > (DIR). The screen displays DIRECTORY.
2 Press < or > to scroll alphabetically through entries
stored in memory

Press the dial pad key for the first letter of the entry you
want to dial.
3 When the screen displays the number you want to dial, press
P on the handset or d on the base to dial
the number
—OR—
Press S. Then press < or > until DIAL flashes.
4 Press S. The phone automatically dials the number.
