Unicast Transmission
The unicast transmission will be suitable for the following system.
When it is necessary to monitor pictures from a specific camera on a specific monitor
System Example
When using the unicast transmission, the number of cameras and monitors should be same. The unicast transmission
is useful in preventing from heavy traffic in the network, not only for this system but also the other systems.
For the unicast transmission, perform the settings of "DESTINATION IP ADDRESS" and "DESTINATION PORT No." on
the VIDEO page of the encoder.
Then, it is also necessary to perform the settings of the VIDEO page of the decoder as shown below.
DESTINATION IP ADDRESS: The same IP address entered for "DESTINATION IP ADDRESS" on the VIDEO page
of the encoder
DESTINATION PORT No.: The same port number entered for "DESTINATION PORT No." on the VIDEO page of
the encoder

"RECEIVING IP ADDRESS" on the setting page
of the encoder and to "DESTINATION IP
ADDRESS" on the setting page of the decoder.

Note: When the decoder is restarted while receiving streaming video by the unicast transmission, it may take more than 10
minutes for the decoder to display streaming video.
To restart the decoder while receiving streaming video by the unicast transmission, it is recommended to do the following:
1. Click the [STOP] button on the CONTROL/STATE page of the encoder or use the "stop encoding" CGI command to stop
encoding.
2. Restart the decoder.
3. After the decoder becomes operable (after the STATUS 5 indicator of the decoder lights up), click the [START]
button on the CONTROL/STATE page of the encoder, or use the "start encoding" CGI command.
