2. Press or orenteranumber( - )toselectthememorylocationwhere
youwouldliketostorethenumber.
3. Press .' 'isdisplayedonthescreenandacursorflashesindicatingthat
thedisplayisreadyforanametobeentered.
If the screen shown to the right appears, the selected memory location is already stored. Then
youmusteitheredittheentryinthislocation,deletetheentryinthislocation(page13)orselect
" "tochooseanotherlocation.
4. UsetheAlphaNumerickeystoenteraname.Thenamecannotexceed14characters.
• Use and tomovethecursortothedesiredlocation.
• Use todeletecharactersasneeded.
• Pressandhold todeleteallthecharacters.
• Ifanameisnotrequired,gotostep5.
5. Press ,' 'isdisplayed.Thecursorflashesindicatingthatthedisplay
isreadyforthenumbertobeentered.
6. Use the number keys to enter the phone number. The phone number cannot exceed 20
digits.Usethe /pauseto enterapausein thedialingsequenceif required.Thedisplay
shows a ' '. Each pause counts as one digit and represents a two second delay of time
betweenthedigits.Use todeletedigitsasneeded.
7. Press , you willhear a confirmationtone, and thefollowing screen appears.Memory
storageis complete.Forexample, ifyou storea numberinto thememory locationnumber
1,thedisplayshows' '.Afterabout2seconds,' '
isdisplayed.Repeatsteps2-7tostoremorenumbers.
8. Press toreturntostandbymode.
