Severe noise interference. • Keep both handsets away from microwave ovens, computers, remote control toys, wireless
microphones, alarm systems, intercoms, room monitors, fluorescent lights, and electrical
appliances.
• Move the main base to another location or turn off the source of interference.
• Press the delete/channel key (XSA1255) or the select/channel key (XSA1255+1) in the talk
mode to help eliminate background noise.
The Caller ID does not display. • The call was answered before the second ring.
• The call was placed through a switchboard.
• Charge the handset.
• Your Caller ID service may not be active; contact your local telephone service provider.
The answering system does • Make sure the AC adapter is plugged into wall outlet.

The answering system does • Set the record time to either the one minute or four minutes option.
