2. Slide the Battery
Compartment cover down.
3. Align the plastic connector of
the Nickel-Cadmium Battery
Pack with its socket and plug
it in.
Warning: Always install
Battery Cable with Black Wire
closest to the left.
4. Place the Battery Pack inside
the Battery Compartment,
and slide the battery cover
back on.
Note: The built-in Memory Backup feature allows up to 3 minutes to
disconnect the old battery pack and install a new one without losing
any phone numbers that may be stored in the telephone’s memory.
