To assign a MSN number to a handset:
- Press MENU when the unit is in standby mode.
- Select BASE SETTING by using the UP- and DOWN keys and press OK key
- Enter the Base Pin code BS_PIN:? (DEFAULT: 0000)
- Press OK to confirm.
- Select HS CONFIG. by using the UP- and DOWN keys.
- Press OK to confirm.
- Select MSN ASSIGNM. by using the UP- and DOWN keys.
- Press OK to confirm.
- Select the desired handset by using the UP- and DOWN keys. (HS1 =HANDSET 1)
- Press OK to confirm.
- Select SELECT MSN by using the UP- and DOWN keys.
- Press OK to confirm.
- You can scroll the list of the MSN numbers with UP and DOWN keys.
- Select the MSN number which you want to assign to the selected handset
- Press OK to activate: assign (✔ appear on the display) / or deactivate (- will appear on the display)
- Repeat the MSN assignment for all subscribed handsets.
- Press ESC to leave the setting.
Note: You can assign more then 1 MSN number to a handset.Then this handset will ring on all the assigned MSN
numbers.
4. HANDSET OPERATION
4.1. Switching the handset On/Off:
To deactivate the handset, press and hold the Line button for 1 second in the standby mode.
To reactivate the handset press and hold the Line button again for 1 second.
When the handset is deactivated, no call can be received.
4.2. Making an external call
4.2.1.
Direct call
• Press the Line button, you will hear the external dial tone.
• Enter the telephone number and wait for connection
4.2.2. Pre
- dialing
• Enter the telephone number. If needed, you can erase digits by pressing the Erase button C.
• Press the Line button. The phone number will be dialed automatically.
4.3. Making an internal call
If you have more then 1 handset subscribed to the base, you can make an internal call between the
handsets
• Dial the handset number
• Press ‘Int’ softkey. The called handset will ring
• Press ‘line key’ on the called handset and start talking
4.4. Answering / Rejecting an incoming phone call
When there is an incoming call, the telephone number is displayed when send by the network.
The incoming call symbol will blink.
If the number is stored in the Telephone Book, the name will appear.
