Marking up a book page by handwriting
(“Create/Edit Notes”)
You can freely mark up a book page using the supplied
stylus or a finger.
In the book page, press the OPTIONS button, then
tap “Create/Edit Notes”
(Pen).
The color of
in the tool bar is shaded and the markup
function becomes available.
Mark up the book page.
Lines are drawn as you drag on the touch screen.

Hint
To erase the line, tap
(Eraser), then stroke a part of the
line. If the markup was drawn by multiple lines, stroke across
all points of each line thoroughly in order to completely erase
the markup.
Tap .
The markup is saved, and the tool bar is closed.
