Your Phone’s Settings
Display Candidate
The Display Candidate allows you to turn on or off preditive
text when T9 (English) is selected. When you are entering a
word, you can have the most common match displayed
automatically after 3, 4, or 5 letters.
To turn on or off display candidate:
1. Select Menu > Settings > Display > Text Entry >
Display Candidate.
2. Press the navigation key up or down to select Display On
or Display Off and press .
To change the prediction start letter:
1. Select Menu > Settings > Display > Text Entry >
Prediction Start.
2. Press the navigation key up or down to select 3, 4, or 5
and press .
