3. Enter the key extender. The following table shows the keys which can be
assigned extenders, and the range of values allowed for each key ac-
cording to system type.

Note: Make sure that the cursor is placed correctly before you enter the ex-
tender.
TEXT MESSAGING (‘L’ VERSION SYSTEMS ONLY)
This feature must be programmed by the system administrator to allow
your keyset access to it. When you are on a call and you receive an Off
Hook Voice Announcement or Camp-On call, you may respond to that
station with a text message while continuing your call with the outside party.
(For example, you might select “Ask Them To Hold.”) The other station can
view this message and take the appropriate action or respond with another
text message.
