4. Route the modular cord through the
wide groove on the bottom of the
bracket.
5. Insert the supplied AC adapter’s
barrel plug into the
DC IN 9V
jack on
the back of the base.
6. Route the adapter’s cord through
the narrow groove on the bottom of
the bracket.
7. Align the keyhole slots with the
mounting screws and slide the base
downward to secure it.
8. Plug the modular cord into a modu-
lar phone line jack.
9. Plug the adapter into a standard AC
outlet.
10. Press and lift out the handset hold-
er, rotate it 180
×
, then snap it back
into place so it holds the handset.
11. Lift the base’s antenna to a vertical
position.
