Monitoring Another Extension (Call Monitor)
The preprogrammed extension can monitor another extension.
To monitor
• To join another conversation, you must have Executive Busy Override enabled at your
extension through COS programming.
• It is possible for an originating extension to leave a three-party conversation with an outside
party and let the two other parties talk by simply going on-hook.
• Executive Busy Override is not available when making a call to a SIP Extension.
• You can also deny others the possibility of joining your conversation (Default: Allow). Refer to
"1.8.7 Preventing Other People from Joining Your Conversation (Executive Busy Override
Deny)".
