Using the Phonebook
Storing Caller Information in the Base Unit
Phonebook
This feature can be operated with the cordless handset only.
To use an Audible Caller ID feature (p. 36), you must store caller information into the
base unit phonebook.
To exit the operation, press at any time.
If “Memory Full” is displayed in step 3, the phonebook is full. To store, delete other
stored items in the phonebook.
If “Memory Full” is displayed in step 8, the remaining recording time is 0. To store,
delete unnecessary incoming/memo messages (p. 93, 95).
To continue storing other caller information, repeat from step 4.
If you do not use Audible Caller ID feature, select “Skip Recording” at step 8 and
go to step 11.
If you need to go back to entering name during entering phone number, move the
JOYSTICK up.

Press JOYSTICK.

Select “Base Phonebook”,
then the display shows the
number of empty phonebook
entries.

Enter Name (p. 39).
(max. 16 characters)

Press JOYSTICK.

Enter Phone Number.
(max. 24 digits)

Press JOYSTICK.

Select “Start
Recording”.

Record the name within 1
minute.

Press JOYSTICK.

Select “Save”, then
Saved” is displayed.
