1.2.1 Main Unit
The KX-TA824 has a basic capacity of 3 outside (CO) lines and 8 extensions. It is capable of
supporting Panasonic proprietary telephones (PTs), and single line devices such as single line
telephones (SLTs), fax machines and data terminals.
One Caller ID card is installed by default to support the Caller ID feature for 3 outside (CO) lines.
To expand its capabilities, the PBX can be equipped with optional components or user-supplied
p
eripherals, such as door openers, external speakers, and an external audio source such as a radio
or CD player.
