Page base
You can make paging calls between the handset and base. The page base feature is
useful if you are away from your desk and need to speak to a coworker in your office
area. From the base, your coworker can choose to block or answer the paging call.
Speaker On/Off
You can use the handset speaker to listen to a call or voice mail without holding the
handset to your ear.
When the speaker is enabled (ON), your caller is not able to hear you until you turn
the speaker OFF.
A speaker icon appears on the handset display when the speaker is enabled
(ON).
The following options are available when you are on a handset call with the speaker
enabled (ON):
Note: The speaker automatically defaults to OFF when the call is put on hold or
released.
The battery talk time is reduced when playing Background Music
(ƒ °fl) through the handset speaker.
If you are on a call and press the Mobility button, a SPKR display button
appears on the top level of the Options List.
Vibrate On/Off
The Vibrate On/Off feature (Vibratory alert) is available when the handset is
equipped with an optional battery pack that contains a vibratory motor.
When Vibratory alert is enabled (ON), the handset vibrates for up to 30 seconds
when you receive a call. You can have Vibratory alert enabled with the handset
audible ringer On or Off. Refer to
