Hotel applications
Hotel applications are a group of hospitality features that increase the
value of the IP Phone 1230. In a hotel environment, guests can access
the following services:
• “Configuring Automatic Wake-Up” on page 125
• “Activating Message Registration” on page 127
• “Using Maid Identification” on page 129
• “Using Room Status” on page 131
Configuring Automatic Wake-Up
Use the Automatic Wake-Up feature to receive a timed reminder call. You
can program your IP Phone to automatically place a call at a
predetermined time. When you answer the call, prerecorded music plays
for 30 seconds followed by a prerecorded announcement or the attendant
on the line.
Entering Automatic Wake-Up call
Use the following procedure to enter an Automatic Wake-Up call.
1. Lift the handset.
2. Dial the Automatic Wake-Up Request
