SET STANDBY PARAMETERS
In order to save energy, it is recommended that you set up your phone to go into a standby mode when not in use. This can be done by
adjusting the System Standby and Standby Timer features.
1) Press the Settings button.
2) Touch the User Settings soft key.
3) Touch the Next soft key until the Display/Sound submenus display.

4) Navigate to System Standby.
5) Press the Select button.
6) Choose On to activate the System Standby feature or Off to turn this feature off.
7) Press the Select button.
8) Navigate to Standby Timer.
9) Press the Select button.
10) Select the inactivity timeout period you want before the Standby feature is activated.
11) Press the Select button.
12) When finished making changes, touch the Exit soft key.
13) Touch the Save soft key to exit the menu system and save your changes.
