Make sure phone is OFF before you replace battery.
1. Remove the battery compartment
door.
2. Remove the battery pack.
3. Insert the new battery into the com-
partment on the back of the handset.
4. Install the battery compartment door.
5. A low battery warning (BATT LOW
light and warning tone) will remind
you to charge the handset batteries
for at least 8 hours. If you have a
back-up battery that has been charged
in the auxiliary charging compart-
ment, you only need to return the
handset to the base for 10 seconds.

• Do not recharge, disassemble, mutilate, puncture, wet or dispose of

ment batteries at the local GE parts supplier listed in your yellow pages.
