MAKING AND RECEIVING A CALL
Making A Call Using The Handset
1. To make a call, lift the handset, listen for a dial tone and adjust your Volume & Tone
Settings. (See pages 19-21 for details on the amplification functions)
2. To dial a number you can:
a. Dial a number from the keypad
b. Press one of the Priority or Memory dial buttons (See pages 15-16 for instructions
on programming Priority/Memory Dial Buttons)
c. Dial from your Phone Book or Caller ID (See pages 29-31 for instructions on setting
up your Phone Book.)
3. On completion of the call, carefully replace the handset in the cradle.
Receiving/Answering A Call Using The Handset
1. When the phone is ringing, simply lift the handset and speak.
2. Adjust your Volume and Tone Settings if needed (See pages 19-21 for assistance)
3. On completion of the call, carefully replace the handset in the cradle.
USING THE SPEAKERPHONE
Your CSC50 Amplified Phone is also a full Speakerphone that offers volume adjustment up
to +15dB. This allows you to hear and speak hands-free.
Making A Call Using The Speakerphone
1. Press the “SPKR” (speakerphone) button for dial tone.
2. Adjust the volume to fit your needs. Move the Volume Adjustment Switch located to
the left side of the telephone beside the speaker
(See figure #21).
3. To dial a number you can:
a. Dial a number from the keypad
b. Press one of the Priority or Memory dial buttons (See pages 15-16 for instructions
on programming Priority/Memory Dial Buttons.)
c. Dial from your Phone Book or Caller ID (See pages 29-31 for instructions on setting
up your Phone Book.)
4. On completion of the call, press the “SPKR” button again.
