Data Error Message
The data error message appears whenever the Digital Diary’s internal check
discovers a problem with data stored in memory.
Appearance of the data error message indicates that you must perform the all-reset
procedure to correct the problem. Start out with the procedure under “To start the all-
reset operation” on page 11, and continue with the procedure under “When to press
Y for “yes”” on page 11.
Important!
• Even though you are not using the unit for the first time, you must press Y (for
“Yes”) when the unit asks “ARE YOU USING A NEW UNIT FOR THE FIRST
TIME (Y/N)?” in order to reset the unit after a data error occurs.
If you still have trouble after trying the RESET operation, you may have a hardware
problem. If so, consult with your nearest CASIO dealer.
