Charging the battery 4
If the battery charge level is getting low, you
should charge the battery. You can see the
battery charge level indicator at the bottom
right of the LCD.
a Plug the connector into the socket (1)
and then hook the cable around its
retaining clip (2) as shown in the
diagram.
b Plug the AC adapter into the electrical
socket.
c Place the cordless handset in the cradle
with the dial pad facing forward.

The cordless handset is too far
away from the machine (base unit).
Move the cordless handset closer to the
machine (base unit).
Your machine (base unit) is not
plugged in.
Make sure that the machine (base unit) is
plugged in.
You have not registered the
cordless handset.
Register the cordless handset. (See Registering
cordless handsets on page 4.)
The antenna on the right of the
machine (base unit) is in the down
position.
Make sure the antenna is in the up position.
