Review directory
To review directory entries
1. Press DIRS when in idle mode to show the first entry in the directory.
DIRECTORY EMPTY appears if there are no directory entries.
-OR-
You can also show the first entry in the directory by pressing
MENU/
SELECT when in idle mode, then press TCID or DIRS to scroll to
>DIRECTORY, then press
MENU/SELECT twice.
2. Press TCID or DIRS to browse through the directory. Entries appear
alphabetically by the first letter in the name.
NOTE: If the telephone number in the directory exceeds 15 digits, <* appears in
front of the telephone number. Press * to move towards the end of the telephone
number or press # to move towards the beginning of the telephone number. You
can also press
MENU/SELECT to view the number in its entirety. This action puts the
telephone number in edit mode. Press
OFF/CLEAR to cancel. See page 28 for
information on editing a directory entry.
