Speed Dialing from the Cordless Handset
Your cordless handset allows you to store up to 10 names and numbers for quick and easy dialing of
frequently called numbers.
These 10 speed dials are not limited to just phone numbers. You can store any number (up to 20 digits)
that you need to enter once your call connects. This is referred to as Chain Dialing. For example, you can
save your bank account number to a speed dial. When you call your bank's telephone teller service and are
prompted to enter your account number, simply press
[memory]
and the speed dial number where you
stored your account number. Then press
[select/intercom]
. Or you can save and store prescription drug
information for fast and easy reordering with your pharmacy.
Note: When editing a Speed Dial, you must press a key within 30 seconds or the phone will return to
standby.
Storing Names and Numbers for Speed Dialing
1) With the phone in standby, press
[memory]
.
2) Enter
[0-9]
to select the speed dial number where you would like to store
this entry. You can also scroll through the list with
[volume/ /+]
or
[volume/ /
-
]
. Press
[select/intercom]
.
3) STORE NAME appears and a cursor flashes indicating that the display
is ready for the name to be entered.
