SETTING / USING THE PHONE

Remove the battery cover by sliding it down.

Plug the battery pack cord into its socket, observing
the correct polarity.

Place the battery pack . Then close the battery
compartment cover.

Place the handset on the base unit. You can place
the handset with the dialpad facing up or down.
IMPORTANT
Charge the battery pack for at least 12 to 16 hours.

Turning the Answering Machine ON/OFF
Press

to turn the answering machine on or off.
Every time you press
ANSWER
, the LED display turns on or off.
Setting the Clock

till a beep sounds.

Select the day of the week by pressing
REPEAT

SKIP
.
When the correct day is announced, press

Select the hour by pressing

When the correct hour is announced, press

Recording and Setting the Greeting Message
To record the greeting message:

Press and hold
GREETING
till a beep sounds.

Record your message over the microphone.

GREETING
or
PLAY/STOP
to finish recording.
To change the greeting message:

GREETING
in the standby mode.

During playback, press
GREETING
again to switch the greeting message.

Press
PLAY/STOP
to exit the system.
Setting the Security code (PIN)

Press and hold
PIN
till a beep sounds in the standby mode.

REPEAT

SKIP
to select the left digit of the PIN.
When your desired number appears on the LED display, press
PIN
.

to select the right digit of the PIN.

Playing Recorded Messages

Making a Call with Caller ID Data
To use Caller ID/Caller ID on Call Waiting
features, you must subscribe to both Caller
ID/Caller ID on Call Waiting services provided
by your local telephone company.
