• When “MSG BEEP-OFF” is shown on the display, you have to press
the Set button to activate this function (default setting : off).
• Press the Mode/Call button to confirm. The unit will regularly emit
a beeping signal when there are new messages in the mailbox.
4 OPERATION
4.1 Announcement of incoming calls
When you receive a phone call, the caller’s phone number will be
announced through the speaker between the first and second ringing
tone. The phone number, the name (depends on the telephone
p rovider), de date and the hour will also be shown on the display.
Additional indications:
a ) “NEW”
It concerns a new call.
b ) “RPT”
Number of the same calls that came in. It means that you have
already received calls from this number.
c ) “NUMBER UNKNOWN”
The incoming call has been sent through by a telephone provider
that doesn’t offer the Caller-ID service or their service is not
connected with yours.
d ) “NUMBER BLOCKED”
The caller’s number can not be displayed because he has restricted
his number/name from being sent to the receiving part y. The
number is a private number.
