Troubleshooting
We do not expect you to have any problem with your telephone,
but if you do, the following suggestions might help. If you still
have problems, check the other phones on the same line to see
if they work properly. If they do and the problem does not seem
to be with your phone service, take the phone to your local Ra-
dioShack store for assistance.
Problem Solution
The handset does not work. Move the handset closer to the base.
Be sure the battery pack is connected
and charged.
Fully extend the handset’s antenna
vertically.
Return the handset to the base for 5
seconds, then try again.
Volume drops or you hear
unusual sounds.
Someone has picked up another
phone on the same line. Hang up the
other phone.
The handset’s range
decreases.
Fully extend the handset’s antenna
vertically.
Return the handset to the base to
recharge the battery pack.
Be sure the handset’s antenna is not
touching a metal surface.
