Listen to the current announcement
1 Press MENU.
2 Select [ANSW MACHINE] >
[ANNOUNCEMENT], then press OK to
conrm.
3 Select [ANSW.&RECORD] or
[ANSWER ONLY], press OKtoconrm.
4 Select [PLAY], then press OKtoconrm.
You can listen to the current »
announcement.
Note
You can no longer listen to the announcement
when you pick up an incoming call.
Delete an announcememnt
1 Press MENU.
2 Select [ANSW MACHINE] >
[ANNOUNCEMENT], then press OK to
conrm.
3 Select [ANSW.&RECORD] or
[ANSWER ONLY], then press OK to
conrm.
4 Select [DELETE], then press OK to
conrm.

5 Press OKtoconrm.
6 The pre-recorded announcement is
restored.
Note
No pre-recorded announcement can be
deleted.
Announcements
The announcement is the message your caller
hears when the answering machine picks up the
call. The answering machine has 2 pre-recorded
announcements: the [ANSW.&RECORD]
mode and [ANSWER ONLY] mode.
Record an announcement
The maximum length of the announcement
you can record is 3 minutes. The newly
recorded announcement automatically
replaces the old one.
1 Press MENU.
2 Select [ANSW MACHINE] >
[ANNOUNCEMENT], then press OK to
conrm.
3 Select [ANSW.&RECORD] or
[ANSWER ONLY], then press OK to
conrm.
4 Select [RECORD], then press OK to
conrm.
5 When [RECORDING] displays, start
recording.
6 Press OK to stop recording or recording
stops after 3 minutes.
You can listen to the newly recorded »
announcement on the handset.
Note
To restore the pre-recorded announcement,
delete your current announcement.
Note
Ensure that you speak close to the microphone
when you record an announcement.
