Intercom
A 2-way intercom is possible between the handset and the base unit or
between two handsets. You can call all handsets from the base unit at
once. The handset included with the base unit has the extension number
1 and 2 which has “[1]” and “[2]” on the display, and the base unit has
the extension number 0. An additional handset is assigned the extension
number 3 at registration (p. 24). The 3rd handset is displayed “[3]”.
Making Intercom Calls
Handset

Press (HOLD/INTERCOM/CLEAR).

To page the base unit, press (0).
•The base unit will ring for 1 minute.
To page another handset,
press (HOLD/INTERCOM/CLEAR), and enter
the extension number using the dialing
button ((1) to (3)).
•The destination handset will ring for 1 minute.
•To stop paging, press (OFF).

When the paged party answers, talk into the
handset.
•You can switch to the speaker by pressing .
To switch back to the receiver, press .

To end the intercom, press (OFF).

Using this feature, you can also locate a misplaced handset.

To page the handset, enter the extension number, using the
HANDSET LOCATOR/INTERCOM ((1) to (3)).
•The IN USE/HOLD indicator flashes.
•The handset will ring for 1 minute.
•To stop paging, press HANDSET LOCATOR/INTERCOM ((ALL) or (1) to (3)).

When the paged party answers, talk into the MIC.
