Setting
the
remote code
number
The remote code
number
prevents
unauthorized
persons
from
accessing
your
unit and
listening
to
your
messages.
You can choose
any 2-digit
number
(00
to 99)
for
your
remote
code
number.
Press
the REMOTE CODE button.
-The
display shows
the
current
remote code number.
Within
7
seconds
after
pressing
the
REMOTE CODE button,
press
the
VOLUME buttons
(A
or V)
repeatedly
to
select
the number.
-Wait
for
7
seconds
after selecting
the
number.
The
number on the display
is then
stored.
To check
the remote
code
Press the
REMOTE CODE button.
The display shows
the
programmed
remote
code
number for 7
seconds.
