Recording a Memo Message
You can record your own voice memo message for up to 3 minutes in memory.
• If you record for over 3 minutes in step 2, the unit will stop recording.
• If “” is shown on the base unit display and 6 beeps sound, your memo message
is not recorded correctly. Record it again.
Recording Your Telephone Conversation
You can record your conversation while talking using the handset or base unit.
• While recording your conversation, Call Waiting and Caller ID features cannot be
used.
• If you press

to switch between talk and speakerphone,
recording is stopped.

Many states have imposed regulations on the manner in which 2-way telephone
conversations may be recorded, so you should inform the other party that the
conversation is being recorded. Consult your local telephone company for
further information.
