If another handset is engaged in a call, the message, “EX
T IN USE” will be
displayed .
The phonebook can store up to 99 phone numbers up to 24 digits each
and names (up to 14 characters).
1. To enter the phonebook and view stored numbers, press
PHBK
. The
first phonebook entry is shown.
2. Press
/ to view other phonebook entries.
3.
To exit the phonebook, press
DEL to return to standby mode. If no key is
pressed for several seconds, the unit automatically exits the
phonebook.
NOTE: When viewing a phone number that
contains
11 digits or less in the phonebook,
memory or Caller ID, the number is shown as
x-xxx-xxx separated by “-“.
While viewing the phonebook, press MENU
to enter the phonebook menu. Use
/
to scroll through the 4 sub- menu options
available, Add Record, Edit Record, Delete
Record and Delete All, and press MENU to
select an option.
1. Select the sub-menu item “ADD RECORD” to add a phonebook entry.
If the phonebook is full, a “PHONEBOOK FULL” message will be
displayed.
2. If there is available storage space in the phonebook, select from one of
the free memory slots. “ENTER NAME” appears on the LCD.
