G33 Express Chipset
The Intel G33 Express Chipset consists of the following devices:
• Intel G33 Express Chipset Graphics and Memory Controller Hub (GMCH) with Direct
Media Interface (DMI)
• Intel 82801IR I/O Controller Hub (ICH9R) with DMI
The GMCH component provides interfaces to the processor, memory, PCI Express, and
the DMI interconnect. The component also provides integrated graphics capabilities
supporting 3D, 2D, and display capabilities. The ICH9R is a centralized controller for
the board’s I/O paths.
