Dialing a CID Number
1. Make sure the phone is OFF (not in TALK mode).
. Use the CID (por q) button to display the desired record.
. Press the DIAL button and the display will show PICKUP
PHONE. Then you can either pick up the handset receiver
or press the speaker button. The number will be dialed
automatically with NOW DIALING showing while the
number is being dialed.
NOTE: Depending on (a) how the incoming
caller’s phone number is formatted when it is
received, and (b) whether or not you previously
pre-programmed your local area code into the
set up menu, you may need to adjust the format
of the incoming caller’s stored phone number
before making the call, press the DIAL button
to adjust the number, and try again. PICKUP
or ADJ will display while you are changing the
phone number format.
