TELEPHONE FEATURES
TONE DIALING
The Medallion 3200 is capable of only DTMF dialing. This phone is not compatible with
pulse dialing.
RECEIVING A PHONE CALL
1. When the phone rings and the caller’s information shows on the display window
(refer to Using the Caller ID Function), lift the handset or press the SPEAKER-
PHONE button and begin your conversation.
2. To change the Ringer Volume, refer to the “Factory Presets” section.
PLACING A PHONE CALL
1. Lift the handset or press the SPEAKERPHONE button and wait for a dial tone.
2. Dial the telephone number you wish to call. The number will appear on the display
window.
PREDIAL
1. While the handset is on hook, enter the desired telephone number using the key
pad. The number will appear in the display. To delete a digit or the entire number,
press the REVIEW DOWN ( ) button.
2. To dial the displayed number, lift the handset, press the SPEAKERPHONE button or
press the DIAL button.
SPEAKERPHONE BUTTON (AC Adaptor must be used to ensure proper function)
1. Receiving Incoming Calls
a. When the phone rings and the callers information shows on the display
window (refer to Using the Caller ID Function), press and release the
Speakerphone button and talk normally into the built-in microphone from a
distance of 5-6 inches.
b. You can adjust the volume of the caller’s voice by by pressing the Volume Bar
on the base of the telephone.
c. After the conversation has finished, press the SPEAKERPHONE button to
hang up.
2. To Make A Call
a. Press and release the SPEAKERPHONE button.
