Voice Features
When placing calls or using the voice features, you have the option of doing so off-
hook by lifting the handset or by pressing
Speakerphone button. If your voice
terminal is set for the Speakerphone feature, pressing
Speakerphone simultaneously
activates the built-in microphone so that you can place and answer calls without
lifting the handset.
Answering and Placing Calls
To answer a call 1 Lift the handset
Green light goes on steadily at the selected call
appearance button
Note: If you are not connected immediately, press
the call appearance button next to the flashing green
light.
To place a call 1 Lift the handset
Green light goes on steadily at the selected call
appearance button
Note: If you want to use a different call appearance,
press the desired call appearance button.
2 Listen for the dial tone and dial the number
To end (or drop) a call 1 Hang up handset or press
Drop button
Note: If you use the
Drop button, you will hear a
dial tone and your voice terminal is ready for
another call.
