Issues Resolved on Series 5i Phones in
Release 2.1.1
This section describes the issues resolved on the Series 5i IP phones in release
2.1.1. The following table provides the issue number and a brief description of
each fix.
Note: Unless specifically indicated, these resolved issues apply to all
phone models.

User Interface
DEF06046 57i CT - The Mute key on the base unit now performs correctly for intercom calls
between the base unit and the cordless handset.
DEF06281 When you configure the Callers List and Directory List keys as a softkey, exiting
these lists now immediately quits without displaying the Services Menu.
DEF06852 53i - Changing the volume no longer causes the clock time to disappear for 5
seconds.
CLN07538 When pressing the re-mapped Conf key during a call, it now sends DTMF digits
inband rather than opening up a new line and dialing.
BLA
ENH06880 When you quickly switch between BLA lines to select a line to dial out on, it no
longer causes the phone to freeze.
XML
DEF07025 The XML Answer and Ignore softkeys now disappear as they should when the top
softkeys or programmable keys are used to answer an incoming call.
Aastra Web UI
DEF07367 53i - Removed the "Save" and "Delete" from the drop down list on the expansion
module key page in the “Type” field.
DEF07407 The Missed Call Summary parameter in the Aastra Web UI on the Global SIP page
now correctly prompts the user to reboot the phone after modifying it.
